Mrs. Marquita Lich, 54, of Phoenix, Ariz., a former Sioux City resident, died Monday, October 14, 1996, in Grants, N.M., from an automobile accident.

The body was cremated. There will be no services.

Mrs. Lich, the former Marquita Posey, was born August 22, 1942, in Burlington, Iowa. She graduated from high school in Des Moines, Iowa and married Arnold Lich on August 11, 1961 in Sioux City. The couple lived in Sioux City until moving to Phoenix in 1988. Mrs. Lich and her husband operated a handyman business.

Mrs. Lich was baptized in the Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold of Phoenix; a daughter, LeAnna of Phoenix; a son and his wife, Tom and Kim of Denver, Colo.; a granddaughter, Nicola and her mother and step-father, Eva and J.R. Beavers of Phoenix.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Posey, and her grandparents.
