Patty J. Brown, 51, of Westfield, Iowa, a former Sioux City resident died Thursday, October 24, 1996 at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Larkin Northside Funeral Home, 2320 Outer Drive North, with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. The body was cremated. There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Brown, the former Patty Yohe, was born January 15, 1945 in Sedro Woolley, Washington, the daughter of Walter and June (Linder) Yohe. She married Fred L. Brown on June 17, 1977 in Elk Point, S.D. Mrs. Brown had been a Sioux City area resident for 30 years and worked as a waitress at the Coffee Cup Café in Akron, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband of Westfield; four daughters, Pam Sheveland and Jodi and her husband Jamie Banks, all of Akron, Angie and her husband Steve Glann of Sioux Falls, S. S. and Brenda and her husband Steve McAdoo of Jacksonville, N.C.; two sons and their wives, David and Mindy Brown of Westfield and Duane and Andrea Hughes of Sioux City; her mother, June Sealman of Colorado Springs, Colo.; five brothers, John Yohe and his companion Jackie of Wahoo, Nebraska, Ed Yohe of Orange, Texas, Robert Yohe and his wife Sheila of DeWitt Nebraska, Harlan Sealman and his wife Delma of Pampas, Texas and Mike Sealman of Colorado Springs and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.
