25 October 1996Caroline Frank, 92, of Sioux City died Tuesday, October 22, 1996, at a Sioux City nursing home following a brief illness.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. today at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel with the Rev. Willard Galloway former pastor of Westlawn Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Frank was born July 15, 1904, in Tyndall, S.D., the daughter of Christopher and Elizabeth (Stefmeir) Vilhauer.
She married Albert Frank December 28, 1926, in Scotland, S.D. The couple lived on a farm near Tripp, S.D., before moving to Sioux City in 1943. They retired to Arizona and he died January 15, 1981, in Arizona. She returned to Sioux City the following October.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, Robert and Shirley of Mesa, Ariz., Maynard and Charolette and Donald and Marlene, all of Sioux City; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a son, Vernon; two brothers and two sisters.
