Audrey L. Swartz, 83, of Sioux City died Monday, November 4, 1996, in Sun City, Ariz.

Services for family and close friends will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Allen D. Call officiating. A Private committal service will be in Logan Park Mausoleum. There will be no visitation.

Mrs. Swartz was born December 15, 1912 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Ann (Carroll) Smith. She married Orlyn Swartz on August 17, 1935 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Mrs. Swartz was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sioux City and an associate member of Hills United Methodist Church in Sun City. She was an active member of P.E.O. and other charitable organizations. She had been a Cub Scout den mother and had served on the board of directors for the Siouxland Credit Corporation.

Survivors include her husband- one son, Jerry of Sioux City and one granddaughter, Stacy Sullivan.

Memorials may be given to the United Methodist Church.
