William J. “Bill” Cullen, 66, of Sioux City died Saturday, September 7, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church with the Rev. Marvin J. Boes officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 9 p.m. and a 7 p.m. Scriptural wake service at Meyer Brothers Colonel Chapel.

Mr. Cullen was born April 7, 1930, in Sioux City, the son of Steve and Ann Cullen. He married Juanita E. Bradshaw on April 21, 1951 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. Mr. Cullen was a lifelong resident of Sioux City and was a union brick layer for 42 years, working for Frank Audino Construction Inc. and W.A. Klinger Inc.

Mr. Cullen was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Linda and her husband Kevin Anderson and Becky Cullen, all of Sioux City; a son and his wife, Kelly and Ginny of Savage, Minn., his mother, Ann Crumley of Victorville, California, two sisters, Colleen Krambeck of Adelanto, California and Kay Montagne of Sun City, Ariz. and six grandchildren, Ben, Heather and Dawn Anderson, Jake and Kelly Monell and Conor Cullen.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Mae Hansen.
