Cindy Rinnan, 40, of Sioux City died Monday, November 4, 1996 at her residence after a year-long illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Michael Catholic Church, with the Rev. Lawrence McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, the resume at 6 p.m. with a Scripture service at 7 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Rinnan was born March 8, 1956 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Madonna (Frank) Robinette. She moved with her family to Sioux City in 1972. She graduated from Heelan High School in 1974 and attended the University of Northern Iowa.

She married Larry Rinnan on February 14, 1976 in Sioux City.

She was employed at the Midtown Medical Clinic and the Midlands Clinic.

Mrs. Rinnan was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and had served on the St. Michael school board. She was active in the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Kelly, Katie and Jill all if Sioux City; her mother and step-father, Modonna and Marvin Pick of Marcus, Iowa; two brothers, Don and Dan Robinette, both of Denver, Colo.; and a sister, Pam Hatz of Omaha, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Pallbearers will be Matt and Nick Hatz, Mike O’Brien, Richard Blankenship, Deric Redmond and Mike Mai.

A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society.
