Regina R. “Jean” Holcomb, 47, of Sioux City died Monday, November 4, 1996 at the Casa De Paz Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, at the Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Marvin J. Boes, pastor of St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, with the family present from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and a Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Holcomb was born November 11, 1948, in Sioux City, the daughter of Clarence O. and Ruth M. (Bertrand) Larson. She graduated from Heelan High School and attended Brair Cliff College.

She married Norman K. Fork in May of 1968, in Sioux City. He died in South Vietnam on September 29, 1969. She married Robert Holcomb on April 20, 1974, in Sioux City.

She was a legal secretary for Shuminsky Law Firm and later for Engleson Abstract Company.

Mrs. Holcomb enjoyed various types of craftwork, among them crocheting, as well as bingo.

Survivors include her parents; a daughter, Krista Holcomb of Sioux City; a brother, Richard and his wife, Buffy, and their family; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
