Milo H. Woodley, 79, of Sioux City died Monday, November 4, 1996, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel, with the Rev. Allen D. Call officiating. Burial will be in Logan Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present from 8 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Woodley was born October 5, 1917, in Merrill, Iowa, the son of David A. and Fannie L. (Simmons) Woodley. He graduated from the Merrill High School in 1936, where he played high school basketball. He married Elaine Terpstra on June 19, 1947, in Sioux City.

Mr. Woodley was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the local plumbers union.

Survivors include his wife; two sons and their wives, Mike and Carol and Pat and Cherri all of Longmont, Colo., two brothers, Merlin of Phoenix, Ariz. and Chester of Sioux City; five sisters, Ora Tullis of Le Mars, Iowa, Marjorie Eberhand of Hinton, Iowa, Doris Clark, Joyce Lanagan and Beverly Livengood all of Sioux City and six grandchildren, Jennifer, Paul, Jacquelynn, Andrea, Justin and Averri.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Elwyn and two sisters, Erma Kelly and Leone Wright.
