SIOUX CITY | Sheri Lynn (Wiggins) Micale, formerly of Sioux City, passed away quietly of ALS, among family, on March 13, 2017, at her residence in Solvang, Calif.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Sioux City.

Sheri was born on Feb. 14, 1967, at Travis AFB, Calif., before moving to Sioux City. She graduated from East High School in 1985. After graduation, she moved to Santa Barbara, Calif., where she met Anthony Micale in 2010. They were married in a home ceremony on Dec. 12, 2012.

Sheri is survived by her husband, Anthony Micale of Slovang; her mother, Irene Wiggins of Sioux City; siblings, Cynthia Schulenberg and William Wiggins of Sioux City, and John Wiggins of Oronoco, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her father, Maj. John C. Wiggins, USAF, Ret.

All survived by her are overwhelmed by the beautiful way she had touched so many. She was wonderful, quiet and reserved, yet she touched hundreds of lives. It is not possible to number those that have out poured their feelings upon hearing of her passing. All agree this world was a better place with Sheri.

All who knew her will deeply miss her.
