SIOUX CITY | Roseanna A. Ash, 96, of Sioux City, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, at a local care center.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.

Roseanna was born on Sept. 6, 1920, in Devils Lake, N.D., the daughter of Edward and Ida (Picard) Laverdure. She moved to Sioux City in 1924.

Roseanna married Kenneth Ash Sr. on Oct. 25, 1941, in Sioux City. He preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 1977. Roseanna was primarily a homemaker, but after Kenneth's death she went to work for the Sioux City School System at Everett's School for five years.

She is survived by her children, Marcelene Feller of Dakota City and Kenneth and wife, Suzanne Ash, of Loveland, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Kenneth Feller, Gerald Feller Jr., Deborah and husband, Mike Wyant, Scott and wife, Monica Feller, Robert and wife, June Feller, Angela and husband, Mike Emmons, and Amy and husband, Rob Agee; 13 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; son-in-law, Gerald Feller Sr.; and five siblings, Joseph, Francis, Evangeline, Evyelyn, and Marcelene.
