Louise Rohammey Coddington, 94, of Wathena, Kansas, formerly of South Sioux City, died Friday, March 27, 1998 at a nursing home in Wathena.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. Marvin Boes officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Coddington was born July 26, 1903 in Jackson, Nebraska, the daughter of Louis and Rohammey (Cole) Hicks.

She married Guy Coddington on March 17, 1918 in Logan, Iowa. He died in 1964. She moved to Wathena from South Sioux City in 1985.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Lillian Newcomb of Wathena; eight grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Guy E. Coddington and Raymond Nelson; four brothers; three sisters and a great-granddaughter.
