Russell W. Little, 84, of Sioux City died Thursday, March 26, 1998, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Allen D. Call, of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today, with her family present from 6:30 to 8:30 at the funeral home.

Mr. Little was born April 15, 1913, in East Palestine, Ohio, the son of George and Tamer (Eaton) Little. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.

He married Mary L. Mackey on Nov. 22, 1948, in Sioux City. He was employed as a respiratory therapist with St. Vincent’s Hospital and Marian Health Center. He retired from Marion Health Center in 1978. He was the second respiratory therapist in Sioux City. She died January 4, 1998 in Sioux City.

He was a Senior Companion for the past several years.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and his wife Vicki of Sioux City and Donald of Texas; three daughters, Gertrude “Sis” Gee and Karen and her husband Jim Foster, all of Sioux City and Rose Ann and her husband Bob Schiene of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
