Thomas Reeves, 53, of Sioux City died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2005, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

He has been cremated. Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Calvary Cemetery, with the Rev. Allan A. Reicks of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church officiating. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a rosary service at 7:30 p.m., Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Thomas was born Sept. 17, 1951, in Long Beach, Calif., to Gertrude A. (Keane) Reeves. His family moved to Sioux City. He was in the final graduating class at Central High School. He was a longtime employee of Interbake Foods.

He is survived by his mother, Gertrude Reeves of Pueblo, Colo.; his wife, Tracie Reeves; his children, LeeAnn and John Paul of Sioux City; and two brothers, David and Martin Reeves.
