8 February 2006Robert Lesline, 65, of Sioux City died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at his residence following a lengthy illness from a long battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home.
Mr. Lesline was born July 17, 1940, in Sioux City, the son of Asa and Vivian (McKee) Lesline. He attended Woodrow Wilson School.
He married Mary Sheley on April 9, 1960 in Dakota City. He was employed as a receiving clerk for Metz Baking Co. in Sioux City, retiring in 1991.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and taking care of animals.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lesline of Sioux City; a son, Robert Lesline of Sioux City; three brothers and their wives, Jim and Ruth Lesline, John and Karen Lesline and Richard and Jill Lesline, all of Sioux City; and a sister and her husband, Carol and Alan Kennedy of Sioux City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
