Rose Resnick, 96, of Sioux City passed away Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at a Sioux City hospital. She was a twin and the last of nine children to pass away.

Graveside services were held Feb. 17 in Independent Farane Cemetery. Memorial services were held Feb. 17 at Congregation Beth Shalom, where Rabbi Guy Greene officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Miss Resnick was born July 15, 1909, in Sioux City, the daughter of Max and Esther (Tessler) Reznek. She grew up in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School. She was a buyer for Younkers Department Store until she retired in 1975.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers; and two sisters.
