Diane L. Wood, 52, of Omaha, formerly of Sioux City, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, in Omaha following a long and courageous battle with shloraderma.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Omaha. Arrangements are under the direction of John A. Gentleman 72nd Street Chapel in Omaha.

Mrs. Wood was born Feb. 22, 1953, in Sioux City.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Wood of Omaha; three sons and their wives, Erik and Tiffany Wood of Lincoln, Neb., Brian and Wendi Wood of Omaha and Matthew Wood of Omaha; three grandchildren, Emma, Bennett and Tyler; her mother, Constance Minton of Sioux City; a brother and his wife, Dwayne and Lori Moritz of Sioux City; and a sister and her husband, Kellie and Rick Sturges of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her father, Duayne Moritz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the National Shloraderma Foundation.
