Dorothy M. Larson, 71, of Sioux City died Monday, March 9, 1998, at a Sioux City hospital following a lengthy illness.

Private memorial services will be at a later date. The body was cremated. There will be no visitation. Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Larson was born June 20, 1926 in Sioux City, the daughter of Ralph and Bertha (Delano) Orricer. She graduated from Central High School.

She married Eugene Miller in 1943. He died in 1953. She married Donald Larson on May 22, 1962 in Luverne, Minn. He died October 2, 1978.

She was owner and operator of a cafe in Sioux City, retiring in 1966.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Eugene and Dori Miller of Sioux city and Ralph and Karen Miller of Tama, Iowa; a daughter and her husband, Frances and Patrick O’Brien of South Sioux City; numerous grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
