25 November 2007Dennis S. Lofshult, 44, of rural Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, at his residence.
There will be no services. The body will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of Carlsen Funeral Home-Schroeder Chapel in Akron, Iowa. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through http://www.carlsenfuneralhome.com">www.carlsenfuneralhome.com.
Dennis Scott Lofshult was born June 4, 1963, in Sioux City, the son of William and Shirley (Anderson) Lofshult. He attended school in South Sioux City. Dennis worked various jobs in the Sioux City area.
Dennis enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved motorcycles, working on them and riding them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Lofshult of Beatrice, Neb.; three brothers, Thomas Richards and his wife, Peach of Littleton, Colo., Steven Lofshult of Westminster, Colo., and David Lofshult of Denver, Colo; and four nephews and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father; two sisters, Susan DeMent and Wilma Bennash; and his special friend, Mary Newton.
