9 December 2007Harriet Bromwell, 94, of Sioux City died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007, at Sunrise Retirement Community following a lengthy illness.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery, Omaha, Neb., with the Rev. Mike Lincoln officiating. Harriet was born Sept. 6, 1913, in Canon City, Colo., to Ernest and Esmal (Bleuins) Borden. She grew up in West Texas.
She married Floyd Bromwell on May 14, 1953, in Elk Point, S.D. He died April 28, 1993, in Sioux City.
She attended First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Earl Borden.
