11 January 2017SIOUX CITY | Timothy H. Ewing, 55, of Sioux City, passed away Monday, Jan. 9, 2017, at a Sioux City hospital.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at Nelson Berger Northside Chapel. Visitation with family present will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a time of remembrance at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Condolences may be given at www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Tim was born Feb. 25, 1961, in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Richard and Rhodora (Still) Ewing. He joined the U.S. Army National Guard from 1980 to 1989.
Tim married Donna Jasper Feb. 21, 1981, in Sioux City.
Tim was a lifelong employee of St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City.
He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed fishing. His greatest love was spending time with his grandkids.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Ewing; mother, Rhodora Ewing of Sioux City; children, Shannon Ewing and Brandi Franke, both of Sioux City, and Ryan Ewing of Omaha, Neb.; grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Cierra, Karley, Skyler, Abby, Gracie and Averie; great-granddaughter, Zoey; eight brothers; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
