Lee R. Rudd, 72, of Sioux City passed away Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service in Sergeant Bluff. Visitation with the family present will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lee R. Rudd was born Oct. 24, 1934, in Mobridge, S.D. He graduated from Vermillion, S.D. High School. He joined the U.S. Marines. After his discharge, he was owner-operator of a trucking firm.

He was married to Norma McFadden on Oct. 14, 1963, in Luverne, Minn. Lee was a licensed gun dealer for many years. He also sold used cars and was a mechanic. Most recently, he worked for Siouxland Taxi as a freight manager.

Lee was a member of the NRA.

Survivors include his wife, Norma; a daughter, Fran and her husband, Brian Konz of Le Mars, Iowa; his girls, Ruth Morton, Tammy Dalcourt and Missy Dawdy; a brother, Loren Dale Rudd of Benson, Ariz.; a brother-in-law, Frank Bochicchio and his wife, Esther of South Carolina; and a granddaughter, Savanna.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and three brothers.
