Carolyn Rene Nash, 37, of Sioux City died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at a Sioux City hospital after a lengthy illness.

According to her wishes, her body was cremated and no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Ms. Nash was born October 9, 1964, in Sioux City, the daughter of Jonathon E. and Patricia (St. John) Nash. She attended Sioux City public schools.

Survivors include her mother and step-father, Patricia and Dwight Monroe of Sioux City; a daughter, Lyndsey Sheehan of Vernon, Fla.; two brothers, Brian Nash and Martin Nash of Sioux City; a special friend, William Ritchie of Sioux City; her aunts and uncles, Jill and Dane Perles of Panama City, Fla., Ginger Nash of Omaha, Neb., Helen Moon and Evelyn Nash of Sioux City; three nieces, Christina Nash of Omaha, Jessica and Tanya Nash of Texas; and three nephews, David Nash of Des Moines, Iowa, Nickolas Nash of Omaha, and Shane Zeitler of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her father.
