Eileen M. McCabe, 69, of Sioux City died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sioux City, with the Rev. Jeff Schleisman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel.

Eileen Marie McCabe was born Nov. 13, 1932, in Sioux Falls, S.D., to William and Lulu (Burnett) O'Donnell. She moved with her family to Sioux City in 1939. She attended East High School and graduated in 1951.

She married Donald D. McCabe on July 7, 1951. He passed away Feb. 20, 2000, in Mission, Texas. She worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone in Sioux City.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing cards and going to Texas during the winter months.

Survivors include three sons, Richard and his wife, Cindy of Sioux City, Donald D. Jr. and his special friend, Peggy Johnson of Sioux City, and Greg and his wife, Deborah of Lakeland, Fla.; a brother and his wife, Robert and JoAnn O'Donnell of Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Mary Lou and Michael Trabert of Cypress, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Richard and William Jr. O'Donnell.
