Norma Joan Neswick, 67, of Sioux City died Sunday, May 12, 2002, at a Sioux City hospital following a brief illness.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jeff Schleisman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel.

Mrs. Neswick was born Jan. 9, 1935, in Sioux City, the daughter of Arthur and Freda W. (Trapp) Levering. She attended Sioux City schools and graduated from Heelan High School in 1953.

She married Robert E. "Bob" Neswick on Nov. 17, 1956, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Sioux City. She was employed with Park Bowl for several years and then A & A Photo until her retirement.

She was a member if Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Altar Society, where she was a former secretary/treasurer. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, bowling and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Robert; two sons, Mike and his wife, Judi Neswick, and T.J. Neswick, all of Sioux City; two daughters, Jodie Neswick and Judy and her husband, Jerry Grimsley, all of Sioux City; two sisters, June and her husband, Vernon Cole of Huron, S.D., and Patricia Kinney of Manhattan, Kan.; four grandchildren, Amy, Matthew, Robbie and Jonathan Neswick, all of Sioux City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Marian Cole and Laura Truex; and three brothers, Andy, Art and Dick Levering.

Pallbearers will be Vernon Cole and Jack Rickert.

Memorials may be directed to her family.
