The Anthon Herald, 11 March 1970, page 1:

Frank John Hardiman, 85, of Anthon died Friday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anthon with Rev. George Benjamin officiating. Burial was in the parish cemetery under direction of Walter Funeral Home.

Frank Hardiman, son of John and Bridgette Hardiman, was born March 1, 1885, at Cascade, Iowa. He lived in Cascade until moving to Anthon about 30 years ago. He made his home in Anthon with his cousin, Mary Conley, for over 30 years. He was employed at the Wolfe Lumber Company and was a member of the Anthon Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.

Survivors include four sisters, Mrs. Tom Rogers of Dubuque, Mrs. Alice Dullea of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Mercedes Driscoll and Mrs. George Coyle, both of Cascade, and one brother, William Hardiman of Cascade.

He was preceded by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
