SIOUX CITY | Robert W. “Andy” Anderson, 61, of Sioux City died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at his home surrounded by family.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Waterbury Funeral Service of Sioux City, 4125 Orleans Ave, with the Rev. Tess Panamarow officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.

Robert Warren “Andy” Anderson was born Oct. 26, 1954, in Sioux City, the son of Floyd Anderson and Helen (Browning) Anderson-Gilson. Andy attended East High School, graduating in 1972.

He married Debbie Massey in 1976. They later divorced. In 2009, Andy married Beth Shelly.

Andy worked at Bellas Hess from 1972 to 1976, E.L. Graham Brake Company from 1976 to 1978, Advance Industries from 1978 to 1984, a local trailer manufacturer from 1984 to 2010, and then Rooster’s Harley-Davidson from 2010 to 2015.

Andy was a self-taught wood worker, stained glass artist, and loved riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his wife, Beth Anderson; two sons, Alan (Anita) Anderson of Sergeant Bluff, and Austin (Candi) Anderson of Sioux City; two sisters, Barb (Jerry) Wibel of Reeds Spring, Mo., and Patty Fisher of Bronson, Iowa; two brothers, Dave (Linda) Anderson of Morehead, Minn., and Rick Anderson of Newberg, Ore.; and four grandchildren, Sienna, Cohen, Hannah and Aero.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Siouxland.
