SIOUX CITY | Maxine Emma Mercuriali, 95, formerly of Sioux City, passed away in her sleep on July 21, 2016, at her home in Las Vegas, Nev.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Sioux City.

Maxine was born on Sept. 13, 1920, to Charles and Emma Padgett. She married Nino Mercuriali and had three children, Janice, Sherry, and Alan. She was employed by Engleson Abstract Co., where she worked for 34 years before retiring and moving to Las Vegas in 2001 to be with her daughter, Sherry.

Maxine is survived by her two daughters, Janice Nyreen of Sioux City and Sherry Rich of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren, Sandra Boisen, Craig and Brian Nyreen, and Diane Jorgenson, all of Sioux City, and Deborah Avery, and Duane and David Rich, all of Las Vegas; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nino; and son, Alan.
