Dies After An Illness Of One Week

An illness of one week ended in death Wednesday morning for Mrs. R. C. Livesay, a resident of Sioux City for the past seven years, at her home, 1721 Lakeport Road. She was 68 years old.

Mrs. Livesay came to Sioux City from Des Moines in 1920 and had lived here since. Before going to Des Moines she resided at Mitchell, S.D., for several years.

Born in Tasewell County, Illinois, March 19, 1859, Mrs. Livesay lived there until she was 20 years old. She was educated at Oakdale. In 1880 she was married and 32 years later moved to Mitchell.

Mrs. Livesay was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Minier. She attended the Morningside Christian Church here.

Surviving are her husband and one daughter, Mrs. O.L. Carson of Sioux City.

Funeral services will be held at the family residence Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. W.W. Williams, assisted by Rev. G.D. Serrill, officiating. Interment will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.

W. Harry Christy, undertaker is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
