Danbury, Iowa – Russell M. Iddings, 79, of Cheyenne, Wyo., formerly of Danbury, died Sunday, July 29, 2001, in Cheyenne.

Memorial services are today in Cheyenne. The body was cremated. Schrader Funeral Hoe of Cheyenne was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Iddings was born June 9, 1922, in Danbury. He married Marietta Garofalo on Jan. 31, 1948, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife: three sons, Anthony of Torrington, Wyo., Larry of Sioux City, and Allen of Gresham, Ore.; a brother, Marvin of Hinton, Iowa; a sister, LaVerne Iddings of Derby, Kansas and three grandchildren.
