Sergeant Bluff – Jack W. Everson, 49, of Las Vegas and formerly of Sergeant Bluff, died Tuesday in a Louisville, Kentucky hospital after a three- month illness.

Mr. Everson was born August 9, 1937, and currently lived in Las Vegas where he was employed by the Las Vegas Public School System and The Stardust.

Survivors include two sons, Jeffrey and James, both of Omaha; two daughters, Julie of Omaha and Danielle of Minneapolis; his mother, Mrs. Dale (Alice) Everson and a sister, Jean Cook, both of Las Vegas and a grandson.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Memorial in Las Vegas.
