SIOUX CITY | Nancy Fitch Field Oudheusden, 76, formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016, after an eight-year struggle with breast cancer.

She was born in Utica, N.Y., on July 11, 1939, daughter of Norma Joyce Fitch Field and John Weeks Field. She grew up in Fairfax, Va., and got her bachelor's degree at Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania and her master's from Morningside College in Sioux City.

Nancy taught math at West High and East Junior in Sioux City, and at RFA and Staley in Rome. N.Y.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Sioux City, First Presbyterian Church in Utica, N.Y., and First Lutheran Church in Blair, Neb. Nancy was a member of PEO, Red Hat Society, Camera Club and chapter president of the DAR. Please express condolences to the family at www.matthewsonforani.com.
