LAWTON, Iowa -- Dale Lee Fisher, 76, of Lawton died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at Indian Hills Nursing and Rehab Center in Sioux City.

A private funeral service for the family will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Martin Chapel Cemetery in Glenwood, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Christy-Smith Funeral Home, Sioux City.

Dale Lee Fisher was born Sept. 2, 1927, in Pacific Junction, Iowa, to Caleb and LuLu (Piatt) Fisher. He attended school and graduated from Pacific Junction High School.

He married Audrey Ranck in 1955. In 1958, they moved to the Sioux City area where he worked for Idlewild Farms and the Sioux City Foundry. Audrey died in 1989, the same year Dale retired.

He enjoyed spending time with his boys, working in his yard, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include two sons, Stanley Fisher of Lawton and Roger Fisher of Sioux City; a sister, Leanne Jannsen of Pacific Junction; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents and 11 siblings
