Lucile E. Peterson, 92, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, Aug. 16, 2004, at St. Anne Home, Fort Wayne, Ind., after a brief illness.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel with the Rev. Krishen Persaud of St. Luke Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Lucile E. Behrens was born Nov. 28, 1911, the daughter of Eric and Anna (Kreutz) Behrens.

She married Edwin C. Peterson on Sept. 14, 1933. He died in October 1995.

She was a past matron of the Eastern Star Rose Croix in Sioux City and Daughters of the Nile in Clovis, N.M.

Survivors include her three daughters, Karen Ostrander of New Haven, Ind., Lynn Peterson of New York City and Marcia Dunn of Fredericksburg, Va.; a brother, the Rev. Theodore Peterson of Duluth, Minn.; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband.
