30 December 2007KINGSLEY, Iowa -- Georgia Mae Maron, 78, of Kingsley was reunited with her beloved husband on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007, at a Sioux City hospital, surrounded by her family members.
A private service was held Saturday, Dec. 29, at Meyer Brothers Morningside Chapel, with the Rev. Merrill Muller of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Georgia was born on May 3, 1929, in Moville, Iowa, to Arthur and Senna (Ellison) Willer. She attended school in Moville.
She married Daniel F. Maron on May 10, 1947, in Moville. Dan preceded her in death on March 8, 2006, in Sioux City. Georgia had worked for Penney's, Zenith and Palmer Candy, but for the most part, she was a homemaker. She had been a longtime resident of Sioux City until eight years ago, when she and Dan built a new home on the south side of Kingsley.
Georgia enjoyed gardening, flowers, plants and sunny days. Most of all, she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are a daughter and her husband, Christy and Larry Henjes of Dakota City; a son, Daniel W. Maron of Sioux City; grandchildren, Matt and his wife, Sue Henjes of Gretna, Neb., Mason Henjes of Sioux City and Nathan Maron of Yorktown, Va.; great-grandchildren, Trinity and Brandon Henjes of Sioux City, and Alyssan Henjes of Gretna, Neb.; and two sisters, Ruby Taggart of Sioux City and Jan Payne of Moville.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her mother and father; two sisters- Edna Washburn and Mildred Venator; and four brothers, Virgil, Arthur, Darrell and Neil Willer.
