25 January 2002Leland LeRoy White, 75, of Lebanon, Mo., formerly of Sioux City, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, at his residence.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Lebanon. Burial will be in Mount Rose Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Lebanon.
Mr. White was born and raised in Sioux City and had worked in several places in the Sioux City area. After making his home in California for several years, he retired to Lebanon.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife and companion of 30 years, Frances "Elaine" White Masters of Lebanon; three sons, Richard White of Hinton, Iowa, Robert White of Bolivar, Mo., and Billy D. White of Anza, Calif.; two daughters, Cheryl Silkotch of Anza and Christina Little of Stanwood, Wash.; two stepdaughters, Teresa Stephens and Rhonda Grant, both of Sioux City; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy C. Bass of South Sioux City and Terry Lee Bass of Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
