29 September 2015SOUTH SIOUX CITY | Debra Kay Juarez, 60, of South Sioux City passed away unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at her residence.
Services will be noon today at Ho-Chunk Center in Winnebago, Neb. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City. Visitation will be until service time today at the Ho-Chunk Center.
Debra Kay Paul was born on March 31, 1955, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Levi and Carol Jean Paul. She attended several schools, including Little Priest College and Wayne State College.
She was married in February 1970 to Anthony P. Juarez in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was employed with various businesses, but her primary interest was raising her family.
Debra was very active in various organizations related to Native American Tribes. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Shawn, Anthony, Misty and Julio; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruth McGinnis and Mavis Juarez; and her four-footed pals, Uno and Chico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony; her parents; grandparents; and two grandchildren.
