16 November 1944Memorial Service Planned for Sgt. Lowell L. Miller
A memorial service will be held at 7:30 o’clock Tuesday evening in the home of Mrs. Ann Miller, 904 S. Helen Street, for a son, T. Sgt. Lowell L. Miller, 25, member of the army air force signal corps, who was killed in action October 30 on Leyte Island. He entered service May 6, 1942 and received training at the Capitol Radio Engineering Institute at Washington and at a telephone school in Philadelphia. Officiating will be Rev. C.H. Kamphoefner.
Sgt. Miller was stationed in New Guinea 13 months. He was last home on furlough in August 1943.
