17 March 1999Agnes Magdeline Yeager, 89, of Sioux City died Sunday, March 14, 1999, at Sunrise Retirement Community.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Adaville United Methodist Church in rural Merrill, Iowa, with the Rev. Dr. John Hantla Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Mrs. Yeager was born Feb. 16, 1910, the daughter of Herbert A. and Jessie Y. (Tindall) Johnson, whose farm was near Akron, Iowa.
Her husband, Winston C. Yeager, died June 22, 1976. She was a long time resident of San Antonio, Texas.
She was a member of United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women and a past grand matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Radiant Chapter 3 of San Antonio.
Survivors include a son and his wife, Jean W. and Marietta of Ypsilanti, Mich.; and three grandchildren, Jake, Hallie and Gideon Yeager.
