Laura M. Kissinger, 44, of Sioux City died Monday, June 7, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Richter officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., and a vigil service at 7 p.m., at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Kissinger was born on July 3, 1954, in Sioux City, the daughter of Rupert and Lucille (Rogue) Lerma. She was a lifetime Sioux City resident.

She married David W. Kissinger on May 2, 1977, in Sioux City.

She was employed at Winna-Vegas Casino.

Survivors include her husband; a son, David Jr. at home; a daughter, Maria, of South Sioux City; two stepchildren, Jamie and Joseph Lerma of Sioux City; six sisters, Patricia and her husband, Everett Provost, Theresa Lerma, Tina Lerma, and Stephanie and her husband, Thomas Bata, all of Sioux City, and Denise Kearnes and Nicole Lerma, both of Winnebago, Neb.; five grandchildren, Tiana and Armondo Kissinger and Kane, Keeley and Koby Lerma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Armand and Rupert Lerma.

Pallbearers will be Larry, Terry, and Ricky Provost, John Lerma, Rocky Kearnes and Harold Cleveland, Jr.
