Hattie T. Campbell, 69, of Sioux City died Tuesday, March 9, 1999, in Sioux City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, Neb. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Visitation will resume 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Campbell was born Nov. 3, 1929, in Fremont, the daughter of George and Elsie (Jeseph) Jones. She was raised in Fremont and lived in Leshara, Neb. She moved to Sioux City in 1961.

She married Charles I. Campbell on Aug. 18, 1946, in Papillion, Neb. He died Aug. 26, 1974.

Survivors include a son, Brett of Sioux City; three daughters, Wanda and her husband, Jerry Schmidt, Cheryl Fox, and Dawn and her husband, Lester Junck, all of Sioux City; three brothers, George Jones, Franklin and his wife, Betty Jones of Sioux Falls, S.D., Frank and his wife, Judy Beranek of Valley, Neb.; five sisters, Viola Peterson of Omaha, Neb., LaVonne Neuhalfen of Fremont, Jennifer Whelchel of Dakota City, Gretchen Hamick of Kansas and Emily and her husband, Ron Wauhob of Sioux City; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Glen L.; a brother, John Jones; a sister, Elsie Gless; and a grandson, Randy Schmidt.
