Anna Marie Maier, 94, of Sioux City died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at Sunrise Manor Nursing Home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m.

today at Morningside Lutheran Church, with the Revs. Donohue Sarff and Kevin Lee officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berger Morningside Chapel.

Mrs. Maier was born Dec. 25, 1904, in Sioux City, the daughter of Andrew and Inga Beatrice (Sandvold) Haugen. She had lived in Sioux City most of her life except for a few years in Sioux Falls, S.D., and Cape Girardean, Mo. She was employed as a secretary with Haskin's Soap Factory.

She married Myron Harold Jenkins in 1928. He died in 1945. She was then employed at Younkers Bakery Department and Morningside Bakery, retiring in 1952.

She married Harold V. Maier in 1952. He died in 1991.

She was a member of Morningside Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Myron Harold Jenkins II and his wife, Marjorie of Parma, Idaho.; a brother, Martin Haugen of Sioux City; two sisters, Martha Goebel and Margaret Bever, both of Sioux City; two grandsons; a step-granddaughter; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by a sister and seven brothers.
