Elaine Dorr, 58, of New Ulm, Minn., formerly of Sioux City, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at New Ulm Medical Center.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm, with the Rev. Thomas Henning officiating. Burial will be in New Ulm City Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

Mrs. Dorr was born Aug. 14, 1941, in Moline, Ill., the daughter of Martin A. and Helen Louise (Biehl) Tullberg. She received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm. She received her master's degree in elementary education from the University of South Dakota. She was an elementary teacher for several years.

She married Robert Leonard Dorr on Aug. 15, 1964, in Moline. The couple lived in Sioux City for 30 years. In 1994, they moved to New Ulm.

She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, the mixed and chapel choirs, WELS Prison Ministries and Lutheran Women's Missionary Society. She was a volunteer at Treasure Haus and Chamber of Commerce in New Ulm. She served as organist at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sioux City.

Survivors include her husband; her mother of Moline; a daughter and her husband, Jana Louise and Daniel Johnson of Glendale, Ariz.; a son, Gregory Robert of Tempe, Ariz.; a grandson, Connor William Johnson; a sister and her husband, Margo and Dennis Korb of Indianapolis; four brothers and their wives, Steven and Shari Tullberg of Chevy Chase, Md., Loren and Judy Tullberg of Custer, S.D., Paul and Donna Tullberg of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., and Keith and Pam Tullberg of Milwaukee; and two sisters-in-law, Marilee and her husband, Harold Peterson and Marsha Kloster of Remsen, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father and an infant son, Delton Robert Dorr
