SIOUX CITY | Larry M. Bieschke, 70, of Sioux City passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at his home.

Visitation with family will be 1 to 3 p.m. today at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Larry Marc Bieschke was born on June 13, 1944, in Arthur, Iowa, the son of John Gerald and Florence Arlene (LeFebvere) Bieschke. Larry served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was employed as a boilermaker, an iron worker, instructor for welding and blue print reading at Northeast Community College, and an employee of the Sioux City Community Schools over the past 32 years.

He was a member of the Boilermakers Local 83, working much of that time for Winbco. Larry loved going to work every day where he enjoyed his time with co-workers. In his free time, Larry loved to watch sports, attend his grandchildren’s activities, fishing and spending time with his family and friends where riding motorcycles was a big part of that time they spent together.

Larry is survived by his mother, Florence Arlene Albers of Sioux City; son, James Gerald Bieschke and his wife, Alissa of Blairstown, Iowa; two sisters, Rhonda Parker of Sioux City, and Connie Siebrecht and her husband, Don of Arthur, Iowa; four grandchildren, Marisa, Wyatt, Elias and Lila Bieschke, all of Blairstown; and very special friend, Marilee Thelen and her family of Sioux City.

Larry was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Ronald Bieschke
