13 March 2008Laura E. Peterson, 93, of Sioux City died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at NorthPark Senior Living following a brief illness.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. today at NorthPark Senior Living, with the Rev. Paul Johnston officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Condolences may be sent online to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Laura was born Nov. 8, 1914, in Hartington, Neb., the daughter of Robert and Etta (Nutt) Koch. She graduated from Hartington High School.
She married Lloyd Peterson in December 1931, in Hartington. He died in December 1997.
She was a member of the P.E.O. and attended Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Peter A. "Inky" Peterson of Orange Park, Fla.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Robert Peterson
