Miriam M. Coe, 92, of Sioux City died Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Countryside Senior Living.

Private graveside services will be held in Wakefield Community Cemetery, Wakefield, Neb. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.

Mrs. Coe was born Sept. 30, 1915, in Carson, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Mabel (Door) Hobson. She graduated from Carson High School, then attended Drake University for one year. She graduated from the University of Nebraska School of Nursing in 1936.

She married Dr. Charles Maxwell Coe on Oct. 31, 1937, in Carson. He died Jan. 26, 2004, in Sioux City. The couple lived most of their married life in Wakefield, where Dr. Coe had his medical practice.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Mary Jane and William Fogarty of Houston, Texas, and Marcia and Jerry Johnson of Sioux City; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren
