Dolores L. Kruse 1932 - 2008

Dolores L. Kruse, 76, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., formerly of Sioux City, joined her savior Monday, March 3, 2008.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at Sunnybrook Community Church (Morningside Reformed Church), 5601 Sunnybrook Drive, in Sioux City. Services were held March 8 at Community Presbyterian Church in Lake Havasu.

Dolores L. Kruse was born in Dunedin, Fla., on Feb. 9, 1932. She married James Kruse on June 18, 1950. They resided in Grundy Center, Iowa, until 1969, at which time they relocated to Sioux City. She was with Avon Products for more than 30 years. She was the Avon manager of Woodbury County for 26 years until her retirement.

She was a member of Morningside Reformed Church, the Quota Club and many other community organizations.

She is survived by her husband, James; a son, Dr. Mark Kruse and Valorie of Sioux City; daughters, Gail Zastrow of Elkhorn, Neb., and Dr. Ruthann Kruse-Hargraves and Wallace of Cave Creek, Ariz.; eight loving grandchildren, Dr. Lucas Kruse and wife, Julie of Raleigh, N.C., Kathryn Kruse of Greensboro, N.C., Dr. Joshua Kruse and wife, Dr. Rachel Kruse of Minneapolis, Jason Zastrow of Chico, Calif., Dr. Jed Zastrow of Surprise, Ariz., Jarod Zastrow of Long Beach, Calif., and Gus and Blaze Meyers of Cave Creek, Ariz.; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, James L. Kruse; and a son-in-law, Donald Zastrow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to Camp High Hopes, 2504 South Cypress Street, Sioux City, IA. 51106.
