12 March 2008Barbara E. Cook of Arroyo Grande, Calif., formerly of Sioux City, passed away Feb. 13, 2008, at her residence.
Services and burial were held in Arroyo Grande.
Barbara was born May 9, 1933, in Sioux City. She graduated from Central High School in 1951. She married Harry L. Cook on April 18, 1952.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Parish in Arroyo Grande.
She is survived by her five children, Shayne (Michael) Tripp, Terry (Sandy) Cook, Tammy (Dennis) Gallagher, Sheri (Kirk) Hohenstein and Stacie (Dennis) Boner, all of California; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; three sisters, Elaine (Don) Johnson, Margaret Eberhard of California and Nora (Bill) Johnson of Sioux City; and two brothers, Leo of California and Jim (Annabelle) of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; an infant son, Danny; her parents, Arthur and Katherine Wright; three brothers, Arthur, Raymond and Andrew; a sister-in-law, Clara (Ray) Wright; and a brother-in-law, Norman Eberhard.
