11 March 2008Maxine Sorensen, 88, of Story City, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, died Monday, March 10, 2008, at Bethany Manor in Story City.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bethany Manor Chapel in Story City. Arrangements are under the direction of Soderstrum Funeral Home in Story City.
Mrs. Sorensen had lived in Sioux City and Marshalltown, Iowa, before moving to Story City in 2004.
She is survived by a son, Richard Sorensen of St. Paul, Minn.; three daughters, Nancy Henderson of Roland, Iowa, Barbara Ross of Hubbard, Iowa, and Laurie Sorensen of Olympia, Wash.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a sister; and three brothers.
