11 March 2008Lt. Cmdr. William J. "Bill" McLoughlin, 82, of Lincoln, Neb., formerly of Sioux City, died Saturday, March 8, 2008.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Butherus, Maser and Love Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Mike McMurtry officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie; a daughter, Jeanne Stephens of Lincoln; a son and his wife, James and Sara McLoughlin of Lincoln; a daughter-in-law and her husband, Sue (widow of Bob) and Kirk Nelson of Lincoln; grandchildren, Cameron and Christy Stephens, Robert Nelson and his wife, Anna and Ryan, Jeremy and James Nelson; three great-granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bob; his parents; two brothers; and a sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Elizabeth Neo-Natal Unit or Monarch Hospice.
