14 October 2014SIOUX CITY | Roland Ernest "Crickit" Bleasdell, 77, of Sioux City passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2014, at a local hospital.
Abiding by his wishes, the body will be cremated. There will be no local services held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel. Online condolences can be directed to www.meyerbroschapels.com.
Roland, the youngest of five and only son of Ernest and Orfa (Riordan) Bleasdel, was born on Dec. 31, 1936 in Moville, Iowa. He graduated from Moville High School.
Roland worked for Johnson Biscuit/Interbake Foods for 30 years before retiring in 1996.
He enjoyed visiting with friends at Court Street Tap.
Roland is survived by two children.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters, Mary Jane, Francis, Carol, and Joanne
